Home - Course Reports - Wow, these online courses for stuttering are really taking off! Read our latest review.
With this online version, people who are in countries where we have not run courses before have the opportunity to attend.
We had a mixture of attendees who were mild stutters as well as some more severe however the goal is the same, to change the mindset and gain control over the speech but using physical techniques as well as self-acceptance, being open and honest to yourself and others.
We were again loaded with many amazing coaches from around the globe who helped to make this a success. The course team of Lisa Nealan, Paul Paluch and Chantal Anderson set the usual first-class standards and the new students followed the self-discipline and commitment required to succeed.
Many other coaches ran sessions through the course with many new grads from the previous online courses returning to inspire the new students and run workshops.
All new students from the UK had a coach they could meet face to face on the Saturday of the course but the non-UK new students took to the streets with a coach coaching them via WhatsApp or zoom.
Having the friends and family log on and join us every evening to get an update and to observe the last few sessions of the day gave the whole event a special feeling. Very emotional reactions from all in attendance.
It’s amazing how you can adapt to change if needed and we welcome another 8 new members onto our program. They all worked so hard and will never have to go back to being out of control of their speech again.
Once you become a member the unbelievable support network kicks in, where everyone has as much coaching support as required to keep on track and reach the goal of being the best speaker they can be – eloquent speakers/communicators. Join us for more online courses for stuttering later this year.
Around the world, our Regional Directors run the Programme in their respective regions. They organise Courses, Support Groups and Open Nights – among many other events and happenings related to helping people who stutter.
